Hey Skies Apart. so where are you based?

I'm from Assam, India.

What interests or hobbies do you have outside of music?

I don't have many hobbies, but I enjoy cooking sometimes and spending quality time with my friends.

How did you first get into music?

My attachment to music began in childhood. Listening to and discovering new styles eventually led me to electronic music. A friend introduced me to music production when I was in school, and since then, I’ve been messing with the DAW and making music.

Do you play any instruments?

I don't play any instruments seriously, but I know a bit of guitar—though I’m not very good at it!

Describe your music style

It’s hard to describe my style precisely. I mostly create electronic music and sometimes indie/electronic, but it really depends on what I'm feeling in the moment. It could be happy, sad, or even something more neutral. My process is personal and vulnerable; music has always been my way of expressing what I feel, and I pour my whole heart into everything I make.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

I don’t have one favorite artist, but there are many I admire and enjoy listening to. Artists like Said The Sky, Illenium, William Black, Last Heroes, Porter Robinson and Dabin inspire me a lot. Few others like The 1975, Oasis, LANY, Atlas in Motion, and Chris Lanzon.

Who would your dream music collaboration be with?

There are so many artists I listen to daily who shape my music taste and production. A few, like Said The Sky, Illenium, and William Black, are big influences on me, and I would love to work with them someday. Matt Healy’s, Chris Lanzon's and James Arthur's voices are also incredible, and I’d love the chance to collaborate with them.

What are your favorite VST / Synths or programs in general to use when producing your music?

I make music in FL Studio, and my go-to VSTs are Kontakt, Serum, and Sylenth. I love messing around with samples and guitars. Guitars, in particular, inspire me and help guide the direction of a song. That’s one reason I’d love to become a professional guitarist someday.

How do you see your music evolving in the future? Are there any new directions or styles you'd like to explore?

I feel like I’m taking my music project in a promising direction and am excited to explore more. Recently, I’ve started writing lyrics and composing vocals. I have a lot of new music in the works - electronic, acoustic, indie, and other genres.

What has been the most memorable moment or experience in your music career so far?

I haven’t yet had a moment in my career that stands out as especially memorable. However, one special experience was finally releasing my long-awaited song, "Taste That Love," on February 23, 2024. Creating that song was a rollercoaster of emotions. I worked on it for two years and was so happy and nervous to finally release it.
